Jason Avery
As an advocate for patient care that began in 1993, I began serving and helping individuals to take a more proactive role in making lifestyle changes and being more consistent or compliant with taking their medications as prescribed by their doctors. My interactions were more educational and supportive as I dealt with physicians, staff or the patients seeking medical care. Patient care has changed immensely since the early 90's and my former role was not insulated from the changes that had taken place. Therefore, in 2014, the Lord answered my prayers of what was next for my career and led me into the world of Medicare Insurance. This was a career I never would have dreamed of, but have cultivated a real passion for. Instead of discussions of, "what do we need to do or change in order to reach your HbA1C goals or blood pressure goals" I am now having a conversation of "how do we access your medical care affordably and responsibly"?
God has always provided for my needs, which is the guiding principle that leads me daily in my efforts to advocate for others. My hope for The Advocate Group is to bring you peace of mind in the unexpected challenges of life, whether it be a need for Health Insurance, Life Insurance or an opportunity to grow a portion of wealth and not have it exposed to market place volatility.

I have lived in the Springfield, Missouri area for over 30 years with my family. I spent 20 years working in the direct sales industry as a Mary Kay Senior Sales Director. I decided to become a life and health insurance agent after I personally experienced the hardship of navigating medicare and health insurance when my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The process was difficult to navigate, scary, and at times frustrating not knowing how coverage worked and how simple the process could have been to set up. Through that experience, I decided I wanted to help others avoid the same pain and frustration, and give them the kindness and service I know can be had through patient expertise!
